Αγκινάρα

The artichoke is a useful, cultivated plant and it seems that it started growing up in the Mediterranean. The artichoke was used as a medicine since the ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Romans. In the 15th century it expanded the use of artichoke in Europe. The benefits of artichoke were enjoyed by the aristocracy of England and France.

You boil the herb for 3-4 minutes and when the boiling stops you leave the herb 6-7 minutes in the water. After the time pass you drain it and you drink it (for a cup you use one teaspoon of the herb).
